Advanced EMT
Our Advanced EMT course has consistently produced successful, qualified and respected AEMT's with an NEMT pass rate of over 95%. EMT

The Emergency Medical Technician course prepares the EMT student to provide prehospital assessment and care for patients of all ages with a variety of medical conditions and traumatic injuries. Areas of study include an introduction to emergency medical services systems, roles and responsibilities of EMTs, anatomy and physiology, medical emergencies, trauma, special considerations for working in the prehospital setting and providing patient transportation. This course will also focus heavily on case studies presented during class developed by both instructors and students.

Basic Rhythm Interpretation
This course was written specifically for experienced nurses, new nurses and EMS professionals looking to acquire a solid understanding of basic cardiac rhythm interpretation. 2 stress free four hour sessions, either on site or at our facility, will have you reading cardiac strips with confidence.
ACLS

The American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support course is a 16 hour course that is designed to teach emergency responders and health care providers how to manage cardiopulmonary arrest and other cardiovascular emergencies.

PALS

The American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support course is a 16 hour course that is designed to teach emergency responders how to manage emergencies involving children and infants.

BLS NCCR
The BLS National Continued Competency Program (NCCR) is for Nationally Registered EMTs to obtain their continuing education hours that follow the new NREMT guidelines for re-certification requirements.
ALS NCCR
The ALS National Continued Competency Program (NCCR) is for Nationally Registered Advanced EMTs and Paramedics to obtain their continuing education hours that follow the new NREMT guidelines for re-certification requirements.
Basic Ventilator Management
This course will review the basic principles of ventilator operation and management. It is primarily structured for Paramedics seeking to gain a greater understanding of their various functions, and refresh the more advanced concepts of patient ventilation.  The ventilator for this presentation will be the LTV-1200, and certification will be completed using the Ventilator Competency Checklist provided by CareFusion, manufacturer of the LTV-1200.  This is the ventilator of choice for various Critical Care and Specialty Care Transport services in New Hampshire and Massachusetts, including our host for this event, Pridestar EMS. The cost to attend this course is $40.00.

NH EMT Scope of Practice
For those who are required by the State of New Hampshire to maintain or obtain their EMS license. Course Content:
  • Advanced Spinal Assessment
  • Anaphylaxis
  • Aspirin Administration
  • Blind Airway Insertion
  • Blood Glucose Monitoring
  • ECG Placement (3 & 12 Lead)
  • Nerve Agents
  • Tracheostomy Maintenance
This is approximately a 4 hour course including both lecture and practical skills related to the above topics.  Once the course is complete, the your name will be submitted to the State on a Course Completion Roster allowing you to complete your license application.
NH Paramedic Scope of Practice
For those who are required by the State of New Hampshire to maintain or obtain their EMS license. Course Content:
  • Advanced Spinal Assessment
  • Anaphylaxis
  • Aspirin Administration
  • Blind Airway Insertion
  • Blood Glucose Monitoring
  • ECG Placement (3 & 12 Lead)
  • Nerve Agents
  • Tracheostomy Maintenance
Students may be required to complete the following additional modules if they were not included with their initial Paramedic training:
  • Blind Airway Adjuncts
  • Blood Glucose Monitoring
  • CPAP
  • Cyanide Kit Administration
  • Laryngeal Mask Airway (LMA)
  • Nerve Agent
This is approximately a 4 hour course including both lecture and practical skills related to the above topics.  Once the course is complete, your name will be submitted to the State on a Course Completion Roster allowing you to complete your license application.
