This class runs Tuesdays, 9 am-5 pm, January 27th - April 21st
Prepare to respond to emergencies with FireMed’s Firefighter One program, designed to equip students with essential skills for combating fires, handling hazardous materials, and providing critical support in emergency situations. This comprehensive course integrates foundational firefighting principles with hands-on training exercises and real-world scenarios developed collaboratively by experienced instructors to simulate the challenges faced by firefighters in the field.
Prerequisites
AHA CPR/First AidHazmat Awareness*ICS 100, 200, 700 (FEMA Website)Respond NH AccountState Medical Release Form*You will need a RespondNH account to get access to this and other courses on the State Fire Website.
**Note: IF Hazmat Awareness OR Operations is failed twice, the student MUST take those classes again before returning to the Fire 1 Program. Operations will be done during the course and is NOT a prerequisite. Please ensure you complete Hazmat Awareness prior to the first day of class.
Tuition
For NH-affiliated students with NFPA-compliant gear (department must supply all PPE): $2,495.00
For unaffiliated students (gear provided by FireMed): $3,495.00
Tuition Includes:
State-approved instructors, a study guide, rope for training, training tools, props, and vehicles, Hazmat Operations, Forestry training, FireMed polo and t-shirt, Weekly checkpoint progress reports and Pro Board test preparation
Please note, tuition does NOT include: Pro Board testing fees charged by outside entities.
