Jim Waller

Fire Instructor
Growing up around the fire service, Jim followed in his father’s footsteps and has dedicated 17 years to the field—13 with the City of Nashua and 4 with the Town of New Boston. He holds an Associate’s Degree in Fire Science and certifications including Firefighter I, II, III, EMT-B, CDL-A, Ice Rescue Technician, Rope Rescue Technician III, HAZMAT Technician, and Instructor I.With a passion for teaching and coaching, Jim enjoys sharing his own experiences to help new firefighters enter the profession with confidence, while also keeping his own skills sharp and current with today’s fire service curriculum. His goal is to instill a positive and aggressive understanding of the field for those just beginning their careers.Outside the firehouse, Jim runs his own landscape and excavation business, serving as general contractor for complex excavation projects. He also values time with his two young children, Logan (5) and Addy (2), whenever he’s not working around the clock.
