FireMed and Dirigo Announce Open House & Demo Day, Plus Summer Training and Tactical Wellness Events for First Responders

HAMPTON, NH – FireMed, in partnership with Dirigo Readiness, is pleased to announce its annual Open House and Demo Day, taking place on Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at FireMed’s Hampton Headquarters (8 Merrill Industrial Drive, Suite 9, Hampton, NH).

This interactive event will feature live demonstrations using Namsco Healthcare simulation dummies, providing first responders with hands-on experience in the latest EMS and fire training technology. Attendees are invited to participate in the EMS/Firefighter Challenge, where teams will compete for top prizes and department recognition. Departments are encouraged to register as many two-person teams as they wish. Registration can be completed here.

In addition to the Open House, FireMed and Dirigo are offering a robust lineup of summer training and wellness opportunities for EMS and fire professionals:

• Tactical Wellness in First Responders Course (10AM-2PM on June 14 or June 22): This comprehensive, interactive workshop is designed specifically for first responders and offers continuing education credits. Topics include physical fitness, nutrition, trauma awareness, stress management, sleep hygiene, heart health, cancer prevention, and work-life balance. Lunch is provided, and the course fee is $40. • Advanced Medical Life Support (AMLS), Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC), and Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS): Nationally recognized, advanced courses offered throughout June and July by Dirigo Readiness, designed to advance trauma and emergency care training. • Paintball for EMS/Fire Professionals (July 24 at OSG in Center Barnstead): A team-building event for EMS and fire professionals across New England. The $55 registration includes gear rental and paintballs, with food and beverage available on-site. Register HERE.
• Trek to the Top – Mt. Washington Hike (August 21): A challenging group hike up New England’s tallest peak, promoting wellness, camaraderie, and community among first responders. And it is all for a good cause! All proceeds raised will go to local charities. Register HERE.
